Talent Manager (Staffing Manager)

Role Overview:
The Talent Manager at Progression Group is a strategic leader responsible for managing the organization's talent pool to align with current and future business needs. This role plays a critical part in identifying, nurturing, and retaining top talent, ensuring that individuals are positioned to achieve their highest potential and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success.
As a key driver of the company's talent management strategy, the Talent Manager is tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive staffing and development programs that support both organizational growth and employee engagement. This includes overseeing the entire talent cycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, succession planning, and career development—to ensure that the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining high-performing employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Oversee the recruitment process and talent planning to ensure alignment with company programs and long-term objectives.
- Develop strategies to attract top talent across various roles, with a particular focus on facilitator/instructor recruitment.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding process, ensuring new hires are equipped to succeed in their roles.
- Identify and staff roles for groups, leadership teams, and project ventures (PV) as required, ensuring that staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Talent Scheduling and Staffing:
- Manage and maintain staff schedules using shift planning software to optimize operational efficiency.
- Adjust shifts and staffing levels based on changing organizational demands, ensuring adequate coverage across all programs and projects.
- Coordinate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and proactively address any potential gaps.
Contract and Agreement Management:
- Draft, review, and manage yearly contracts for both employees and freelancers to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Develop and oversee incentive-based agreements, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to align incentives with performance goals.
- Ensure that all contracts and agreements are properly documented, stored, and regularly updated.
Training and Development
- Manage and update the AG5 software in coordination with head trainers to track and enhance staff skill development.
- Collaborate with the Program Design Team and Technical Team to schedule and deliver targeted training programs for facilitators and other staff members.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all training and development initiatives, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and performance data.
Compensation and Financial Coordination
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate calculation and timely processing of payments for freelancers and contract staff.
- Assist in developing compensation structures that align with market standards and support the company’s talent retention goals.
Employee Data Management
- Maintain and regularly update company staff profiles, ensuring that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Implement data management practices that comply with data protection regulations and support efficient reporting.
- Ensure that employee records are easily accessible for relevant stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.
Performance Tracking and Analysis
- Track and analyze employee performance metrics, including incident reports, to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with HR and department leaders to develop performance improvement plans and recognize high-performing employees.
- Use data-driven insights to inform talent management strategies and enhance overall organizational performance.
Prerequisites:
- Advanced degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent management, human resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing recruitment cycles, employee development plans, and talent engagement.
- Experience in program development and management, ideally within an educational or outdoor setting.
- Proficiency in HR software systems, including shift planning and AG5 software.
- Advanced skills in computer software skills such Google products and etc.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools for tracking and analyzing performance metrics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multiple departments.
- Leadership abilities to mentor and guide teams effectively.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities:
