Role Overview:
The Director of Sales at The Progression Group is a strategic leader responsible for driving the organization's revenue generation initiatives and forging meaningful partnerships that align with our mission. This role is crucial in steering our growth, enhancing our market presence, and ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of our partnership development and revenue generation  processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sales Leadership:
    • Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed company revenue targets.
    • Stay abreast of market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and adapt strategies to capitalize on these trends.
  • Partnership Development:
    • Cultivate new and existing partnerships, negotiating terms that foster long-term success and alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Manage key partner relationships, ensuring mutual satisfaction and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Team Management and Development:
    • Lead and inspire the sales team, setting performance standards, and providing coaching and professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative, empowering, and high-performance sales culture within the team.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Oversee client engagement from initiation to post-engagement follow-up, ensuring a superior client experience and fostering long-term loyalty.
    • Develop and implement client retention strategies and processes.
  • Program Collaboration and Integration:
    • Collaborate with Program Directors to ensure that sales initiatives align with program content and delivery, enhancing the overall value proposition.
    • Provide input into program development based on market feedback and sales insights.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Set and oversee sales forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance and adjusting strategies as necessary.
    • Analyze sales data and reports, using insights to drive decisions and improve sales performance.
  • Marketing Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure that marketing strategies and sales efforts are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
    • Leverage marketing insights to refine sales approaches and materials.
  • Sustainable Sales Processes and Systems:
    • Establish and refine sustainable, scalable sales processes and systems, incorporating best practices and ethical sales methodologies.
    • Implement CRM and other technological tools to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting.
Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record in the outdoor, educational, or leadership development sectors.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and build productive partnerships.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.
